Your phone becomes the terminal.
From November 2026 you accept cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay with the Freika app for Android. Hold the card to the phone, done. No device, no waiting, no monthly fee.
- How it works
- Download the Freika app from Google Play, sign in with your account and enter the amount. Your customer holds their card or phone to your device. The payment runs over the phone's NFC chip and is certified under PCI MPoC.
- Who it is for
- For everyone who collects rarely or on the move: market stalls, delivery services, trades, clubs, courses. And as an addition to the terminal on peak days: every team member collects with their own phone.
- What it costs
- The same as at the terminal: 1.29 % + CHF 0.10 per payment. No service package, no monthly fee. The app is free.
- What you need
- An Android phone with NFC and Android 11 or newer. We are evaluating an iPhone version for a later date.
